Wheel Chair Friendly Courses

What are wheelchair friendly courses?

A number of courses have been designed for wheel chair access to provide orienteering fun & challenges. This is a new approach and we are still evolving ways to make these courses better & user friendly! Every effort has been made to ensure route choices are "wheel chair friendly -WF"; this has meant seeking reasonable gradients (flat to moderate). In some locations there may be some short steep sections and this has been flagged as part of the course descriptions.

How does it work?
